Full-time Probationary Inclusive Lead Teacher - 1.0 FTE St. Lorenzo Ruiz Middle School Red Deer, AB
Please note that this opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates.
The Inclusive Lead Teacher works with teachers to provide support with adaptations and accommodations necessary to ensure student success. They play an important role in building capacity with all staff including educational assistants in developing appropriate strategies, programming and professional development for staff. This individual will oversee the development and completion of Individualized Support Plans. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with all students, staff and parents and work well in team with others.
Individualsexhibiting the following education, experience, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor of Education
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certification
- Knowledge of Alberta School Curriculum
- Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Be comfortable working in a Faith filled environment
- Alberta teaching certificate
- A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor.
