Assignment:

• Part-time 0.63 FTE Educational Assistant position
• Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
• Providing support to students in Kindergarten classrooms, small groups, and individual settings
• Tuesday and Thursday full days
• Monday and Wednesday mornings in Literacy and Numeracy Intervention support

Qualifications and/or Assets:

• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
• Experience working with students with behaviour support needs would be considered an asset
• Experience working in Literacy and/or Numeracy Intervention support would be considered an asset
• Experience in Early Childhood Education would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
• Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Calm, confident, and skilled professional who can maintain structure and consistency while supporting students who require supervision, redirection, and personalized programming throughout the school day.
