Educational Assistant; Competition #S2526-0365

Bentley School is seeking a caring, collaborative, and student-focused Educational Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with a classroom teacher, school administration, and other support staff to provide meaningful support for students, while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

• Part-time 0.60 FTE Educational Assistant position
• Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to identified students within Kindergarten to Grade 4
• Assist with academic, behavioural, and social-emotional interventions
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement student learning and support plans
• Support inclusive practices and help students fully participate in school and classroom activities
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

• Experience working with students with complex needs
• Background and/or experience supporting academic and behavioural needs
• Skill in providing one-to-one and small-group instruction
• Ability to support students within inclusive classroom environments
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional demeanor
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in implementing programming specific to individual student needs
• Commitment to student success and inclusive education
• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant or in Early Childhood Development
