Educational Assistant

Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant Role
Location: City of Lacombe

Support diverse learners as a Full-Time Educational Assistant from October to June. Engage in one-on-one and small group settings during school hours to foster student development.

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to work Monday through Friday, helping students with varying needs. Experience in literacy and numeracy is beneficial, as well as a strong background in supporting students with complex requirements. Your effective communication and teamwork will create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support diverse learners in one-on-one and group settings

• Collaborate with educators to enhance student engagement

• Assist students with complex behavioral needs

• Maintain a calm approach during challenging situations

• Promote effective communication in the classroom

Requirements:

• Experience as an Educational Assistant or similar role

• Background in literacy and numeracy preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

• Willingness to work as part of a team

• Calm demeanor in problem-solving scenarios
