Red Deer Public Schools seeks Substitute Teachers for various locations throughout Red Deer. You will work when regular teachers are absent, helping students understand subject matter and providing skills for programmed lessons. The assignment may involve purposeful classroom training across different school levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach all subjects across assigned classroom levels
- Support elementary, middle, and high school students
- Explain subject matter during regular teacher absences
- Provide skills required for programmed lessons
- Deliver purposeful training within assigned classrooms
- Alberta Professional Teaching Certificate or eligibility
- Ability to teach elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Ability to teach all subjects
- Copy of certificate or certificate details with application
- Current vulnerable sector criminal record check for new employees
