Classification: Trade Power Plant Engineer 4th Class
Salary: $2,582.91 to $2,671.62 bi-weekly ($67,413 - $69,729/year)
Equipment Operated, Maintained, and Repaired- Low pressure water tube boilers, Fire tube Boilers and Hot water Boilers.
- Glycol Chiller and AC units.
- Diesel engine operated emergency power generators.
- Natural gas fired plant, heat exchangers and air handling units.
- Water softeners Dealkalizer, water treatment area.
- Operate and maintain heating and cooling plant components and other mechanical and auxiliary equipment in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Perform routine maintenance of boilers and other mechanical and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and auxiliary equipment.
- Provide administrative and other services in support of facility operations and maintenance.
- Conduct building maintenance on multiple buildings on site.

Required
- Fourth Class Power Engineer’s Certificate
Equivalency
Related experience or education (e.g., related diploma) may be considered as an equivalency on a one‑for‑one basis.
Assets
- Operations and maintenance procedures for heating and cooling systems and related auxiliary equipment.
- Building mechanical maintenance practices and approaches.
- Safe operation and maintenance of relevant tools and test equipment.
- Relevant provisions of legislation, regulations, directives, policies, and codes.
- Relevant information, building management control, and maintenance management systems and business productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet).
This is a permanent, full‑time role with a standard 40‑hour work week, Monday to Friday, scheduled weekend checks and after‑hours call outs.
Final candidates will be required to undergo a criminal records check (CRC).
