Edon is seeking a 5th Class Power Engineer in Ponoka, AB, to ensure safety and operational excellence across managed buildings. Focus on maintenance, monitoring, and customer service.
In this role, you will maintain comfortable and efficient environments by managing daily operations and conducting inspections of HVAC and plumbing systems. You will also respond to emergency situations effectively and support team efforts through proactive communication. Successful candidates will bring problem-solving abilities and strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily maintenance and operations efficiently
• Perform routine inspections and identify system issues
• Operate and monitor HVAC and safety systems
• Promptly handle tenant service requests
• Participate in an on-call rotation with teammates
Requirements:
• Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate required
• At least 2 years in building operations or maintenance
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Extensive knowledge of facility systems
• Proficient in technology, specifically MS Office
