Take the lead in carbon capture technology as an Expert Reservoir Engineer. This hybrid role revolves around hands-on reservoir modeling, risk assessment, and collaboration across engineering disciplines for CO2 storage projects in Canada.
This is a senior role without people management responsibilities but with substantial influence on project outcomes. You'll engage in developing reservoir models, assessing risks to CO2 containment, and ensuring successful regulatory application submissions. Working closely with geoscientists and drilling engineers, your contributions will significantly impact sustainable practices in carbon management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of reservoir models for CO2 mineralization

• Utilize simulation software to optimize CO2 injection

• Conduct analyses for CO2 injection site performance

• Design risk monitoring programs for long-term storage

• Document modeling findings in comprehensive reports
Requirements:

• Degree in Petroleum or relevant engineering

• Hold a Canadian P.Eng designation

• 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience

• Proficiency in modeling software essential

• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
