Calgary Environmental Professional - SIR Team

Become a key player in our Site Investigation and Remediation team as an Environmental Professional in Calgary, Alberta. We seek an individual who excels in managing remediation projects within the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
As the Project Manager, you will lead assessments, strategize remedial options, and oversee project execution while ensuring compliance with Alberta’s environmental standards. This role requires strong technical writing and organizational skills, along with the ability to guide teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for assessments

• Collaborate with subcontractors on remediation strategies

• Monitor project timelines and budget adherence

• Conduct complex fieldwork and oversee junior staff

• Prepare and submit technical reports to meet regulations
Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of eight years in environmental investigation

• Professional designation preferred or in progress

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

• Willingness to travel for project kickoffs and audits
