Position: Ottawa Senior Engineer for Reliability Testing
Join a reputable firm as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Ottawa, focusing on medical device safety and compliance. This onsite role requires seasoned expertise in the Med Tech field.

We seek a Reliability Engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in the Medical Device industry. The role emphasizes reliability engineering principles including HALT and HASS, along with advanced testing methodologies. Proficiency in Minitab or JMP is essential for this position, as is experience with DFMEA and fault tree analysis methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement reliability engineering protocols for medical devices

• Carry out HALT, HASS, and accelerated life testing methodologies

• Generate DFMEA and perform fault tree analysis

• Conduct reliability modeling with Weibull and lognormal distributions

• Develop verification test and custom test fixtures

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in Medical Device/Med Tech reliability roles

• Experience with Minitab and JMP is a must

• Knowledge of ISO 14971, FDA regulations

• Understanding of IEC standards applicable to medical devices

• Expertise in root cause analysis and life data evaluation
