The selected co-op student will serve in the Process Technology department for 4 to 8 months, starting this September. Candidates should be enrolled in a recognized Canadian Engineering program, preferably in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering. This role will expose you to critical engineering principles while working on tubular testing projects and interacting with team members to resolve non-conformance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct statistical process control and analyses
• Evaluate and analyze process data for non-conformities
• Collaborate with QA to address non-conformance issues
• Manage collapse testing at the Red Deer facility
• Collect data to support analyses and operations
Requirements:
• Enrolled in an Engineering program with at least 1 year completed
• Preference for Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering students
• Understanding of engineering principles and materials strength
• Experience with MS Office and strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and self-starter with safety commitment
