As a full-time Forensic Structural Engineer, you will investigate damages and assess failures in residential and commercial structures. Your expertise is essential in producing comprehensive reports and serving as an expert witness, leveraging your engineering degree and P.Eng. certification. Key Responsibilities:
• Survey losses and damages at diverse sites
• Document and analyze failure origins and impacts
• Collaborate on detailed reporting with investigators
• Serve as an expert witness for legal proceedings
• Maintain billing and project compliance efficiently
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and P.Eng. certification
• Minimum of five years engineering experience
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written forms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools
• Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time
