Environmental Expert - Contaminated Site Management

Stantec is seeking a Senior Environmental Professional to lead contaminated site management initiatives in Alberta. This role is ideal for those with a passion for environmental sustainability and flexible working arrangements.

As a key member of the Prairies and Territories Site Investigation and Remediation team, you will provide expert direction on soil and groundwater projects. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance and promote safety in all operations. Your 15+ years of experience will be instrumental in supporting diverse clients and mentoring newer staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct contaminated site investigations and remediation efforts

• Develop comprehensive project scopes and budgets

• Analyze site data and produce detailed environmental reports

• Maintain long-term client relationships and support business development

• Mentor and train junior environmental professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in relevant environmental field

• Professional designation recognized in Canada

• At least 15 years of industry experience

• Strong knowledge of remediation techniques and regulations

• Effective communication and leadership abilities
