Mechanical Engineering Co-op

Interpro Pipe & Steel is seeking a Co-op Engineering student currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Degree program. This position offers a blend of practical project experience within the manufacturing context, focusing on equipment selection, mechanical design, and project documentation. You'll actively participate in meetings and discussions while collaborating on safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with CAPEX and improvement projects

• Coordinate and communicate project details with stakeholders

• Lead department meetings and document outcomes

• Create design and specification drawings under guidance

• Evaluate equipment and participate in facility assessments

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program

• Familiarity with CAD software;
Autodesk is preferred

• Knowledge of mechanical systems used in manufacturing

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Self-motivated and results-driven mindset
