We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and results-driven Sales & Event Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in growing our business and delivering exceptional event experiences.

The Sales & Event Coordinator is a client-facing, revenue-focused role responsible for identifying, securing, planning, selling, and coordinating events at the Calnash Ag Event Centre. This individual serves as the primary point of contact from the initial inquiry through event completion, ensuring a seamless customer experience while driving facility bookings, revenue growth, and profitability.

• Proactively generate leads, build relationships, and secure new event opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with event organizers, sponsors, vendors, and community partners.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Negotiate event agreements and service offerings.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track booking performance.
• Meet established booking, revenue, and profitability targets.

• Manage event bookings, contracts, and event details from start to finish.
• Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, layouts, services, and special requirements.
• Review billing details with clients prior to events.
• Ensure accurate communication and execution of event plans.

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event lifecycle.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and guests.
• Address client concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure a high-quality event experience that encourages repeat business.

• Schedule and coordinate event staff based on operational requirements.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown activities.
• Approve and submit employee timecards.
• Communicate event requirements and timelines across departments.

• Coordinate bar service planning, staffing, inventory, and compliance.
• Manage camping reservations and guest communications.
• Coordinate parking plans to support guest experience and event success.

• Promote a safe environment for staff, guests, and facility users.
• Ensure events comply with facility policies, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate safety expectations clearly to clients and staff.

• Experience in event coordination, sales, hospitality, venue management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to generate sales and build client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of agricultural, community, corporate, or special event operations is an asset.
