In this part-time role, you will communicate effectively under pressure while coordinating emergency responses. Your skills in managing calls, data entry, and generating reports will be vital in supporting various emergency agencies. You'll operate advanced communication systems and maintain accuracy in incident data to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and assess 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls
• Coordinate dispatch with internal teams and agencies
• Maintain communication with responders and partner agencies
• Operate and troubleshoot communication systems
• Track and report on emergency resources' status
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Current Emergency Fire Dispatcher certification
• 40 wpm typing skills, corrected for errors
• Ability to handle high-stress conflicts
• Valid Alberta Driver’s license
