As a Municipal Enforcement Officer, you will ensure compliance with bylaws while engaging actively with the community. Key responsibilities include conducting patrols, responding to public complaints, and handling evidence collection. Your contributions are essential to maintaining public safety and promoting municipal standards throughout Red Deer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patrols to enforce Municipal Bylaws
• Gather and document evidence for investigations
• Educate the public on bylaw compliance
• Mediate conflicts and handle challenging situations
• Maintain accurate enforcement records and documentation
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-year College Diploma in Law Enforcement or related field
• Two years of law enforcement or bylaw experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to pass RCMP Clearance and obtain Community Peace Officer Status
