The Drumheller Dragons Jr. A Hockey Club of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual for the dual role of Certified Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager . Weareacommunity-driven,non-profit privatecompanyfocusedondevelopingathletesthroughteamwork,commitment,and discipline.

Reportingtothe Head Coachand General Manager , the successful candidate will oversee the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of player injuries while managing all team equipment and dressing room operations.

• Injury Management: Provide assessment,emergency care,and rehabilitation for all players; develop and execute specific "return to play" plans.
• Medical Coordination: Liaise with physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel;maintaindetailedmedicalrecordsandcoordinateinsuranceclaims.
• Team Coverage: Providemedicalcoverageforallpracticesessionsandgames (home and away), including travel with the team.
• Emergency Planning: Developandmaintainan Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for the team.

• Inventory&Maintenance: Managetheinventory,distribution,andrepairofall team equipment and medical supplies.
• Technical Duties: Performdailyskatesharpening,equipmentmodifications,and laundry.
• Operations: Maintainthetidinessofthetrainingroomanddressingrooms; oversee game-day interns and assist with visiting team needs.

• Certified Athletic Therapist (CATAmemberingood standing).
• Bachelor’sDegreeinarelatedfield(e.g., Kinesiology).
• Previousexperienceinacompetitivehockeyenvironmentisconsidereda significant asset.
• Strongorganizationalandcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytowork independently in a fast-paced setting.
