Optometrist Locum Coverage Needed

Join Hauck Vision and Hearing as a locum Optometrist and help manage our busy patient schedule. This role is flexible, offering part-time or full-time hours during the coverage period.

We need an Optometrist to step in from early August to mid-September while one of our ODs is on leave. Our clinic features modern technology, including state-of-the-art OCT and Visual Field equipment, ensuring you have the tools you need to provide excellent care. You will join a supportive team that includes two licensed Opticians and pretesting assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform eye examinations and provide accurate prescriptions

• Utilize clinic technology for optimal patient care

• Work collaboratively with opticians and support staff

• Ensure excellent record-keeping of patient information

• Provide ongoing patient follow-up care

Requirements:

• Valid Optometrist license in Alberta

• Availability for locum coverage during specified period

• Familiarity with OCT and Visual Field equipment preferred

• Ability to travel from Edmonton or Calgary as needed

• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
