Provide compassionate care as a Health Care Aide at Rimbey Long Term Care, located near Calgary and Edmonton. Work closely with patients and families in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
Join the team at Rimbey Long Term Care, where you'll make a difference as a Health Care Aide. This role calls for individuals committed to the care of the elderly, including those with Alzheimer's and other dementias. You'll assist with daily living activities, support nurses in patient care, and maintain communication with families and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Support nurses in providing routine care
• Monitor and report on patients' health and mood
• Facilitate organized activities and programs
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
Requirements:
• Registered or eligible as a Health Care Aide in Alberta
• Experience in dementia and Alzheimer care
• MAP training and computer proficiency
• Good knowledge of safe lifting practices
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
