Become a key player in community health as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart. Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting with prescription dispensing and pharmacy operations.
In this role, you will support the pharmacist by gathering prescription information and ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards. You'll engage with customers directly, manage the cash register, and handle third-party billing. This position emphasizes customer-centric service within a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and gather prescription details promptly
• Cash out prescriptions and ancillary items accurately
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards
• Assist in managing incoming prescriptions and faxes
• Support prescription preparation and data entry tasks
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience valued
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail in all tasks
