Position: Community-Focused Pharmacy Assistant Role

This position involves engaging with customers to provide timely services and effective communication with the pharmacist for clinical inquiries. You will manage prescription cash outs and assist in maintaining pharmacy documentation. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet customers and gather prescription information

• Ensure cash register accuracy and patient confidentiality

• Adjudicate third-party billing and manage orders

• Assist pharmacists with call backs and queries

• Maintain accurate filing of pharmacy documentation

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma

• Preferred diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant program

• Relevant pharmacy experience is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
