DescriptionThe Pharmacy Operations Manager in Central Corridor will be responsible for attracting and developing a team of highly capable, committed staff who share a passion for patient and customer centered care. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will work as a team to provide leadership, vision, strategic planning and service delivery of Pharmacy Services for the Central Corridor. The Pharmacy Operations Manager position works closely with the Central Corridor Pharmacy Management Team and the Provincial Pharmacy Operations Team in support of the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services.
The position is primarily responsible and accountable for making operational decisions for drug distribution services and technical functions and having direct leadership responsibility for pharmacy technicians and assistants.

Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Alberta College of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician. Progressive and demonstrated leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
AdditionalRequired Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years in a hospital pharmacy role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is desired.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Willow Pharmacy (Connect Care), Oracle, Pyxis/Omnicell, and automated packaging systems. Leadership experience in hospital pharmacy operations. Strong communication, organization, coaching, and change management skills. Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources and priorities, drive innovation, and deliver customer-focused results. Skilled in operational planning, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
