Compassionate Health Care Aide

Provide exceptional care at Bethany College side in Red Deer, Alberta, as a part time Health Care Aide. Support residents in daily activities while promoting their independence and dignity.

As an integral member of the health care team, you will assist with activities of daily living while ensuring accurate documentation and safety adherence.

Your role will focus on understanding residents’ comprehensive needs and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best health outcomes. This position offers part-time shifts with fixed-term commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support resident-centered care while respecting privacy

• Document and report care observations effectively

• Foster a safe environment for residents and staff

• Engage in learning opportunities to enhance care

• Participate actively in team evaluations and adjustments

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 and Health Care Aide certification

• Registration with Alberta's LPN and HCA College

• Previous Health Care Aide experience preferred

• Proficient in English communication

• Capacity to manage physical and mental demands
