Qualicare Calgary has immediate opening for a HCA in RED DEER Company Overview Qualicare Calgary Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Health Care Aide (HCA)/ Caregivers. Qualicare Calgary offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families.
Job Summary As a HCA , you'll be an important member of our home care team, working closely with our Care Coordinators to provide personalized care that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to brighten someone's day and make a lasting difference.
This position is ongoing and includes day shifts; 5 hours per day. We are looking to fill this position asap.
Responsibilities Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Assist/ Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow Care-plan
Documentation/Charting
Qualifications HCA certificate AND Registered with CLPNA (or in process)
Fluent in English both verbal and written
Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
Access to Internet/Mobile phone
