This role holds a special place in improving the lives of clients by providing personal care and completing daily housekeeping tasks according to individual care plans. Engage with clients in meaningful ways, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform homemaking tasks like cleaning, cooking, and laundry
• Accompany clients to community events as a companion
• Provide personal care services based on care plan directives
• Document observations on client conditions accurately
• Follow infection prevention guidelines diligently
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited caregiver program or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of caregiving practices and customer service
• Proficiency in English communication;
French proficiency is advantageous
• Physically capable of lifting 23 kg and assisting clients
• Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
