Become a Primary Care Paramedic at Medavie Health Services West in Central Alberta. Deliver timely emergency care while ensuring patient safety and supporting community health initiatives.
In this permanent role, you are responsible for immediate patient treatment and safe transport to medical facilities. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver emergency medical treatment and transport patients
• Ensure vehicle readiness according to operational guidelines
• Document all patient interactions in ePCRs
• Collaborate with external emergency agencies for patient safety
• Participate in community education and public relations activities
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Alberta Operator's License (class 1, 2, or
4)
• Registered with Alberta College of Paramedics
• CPR certification required
• Physical fitness for lifting and managing patients
