Hybrid Exercise Specialist

Position: Hybrid Exercise Specialist Role
Transform lives as an Exercise Specialist within the Breathe Easy Rehabilitation Program in Red Deer. Support clients with respiratory health issues through tailored exercise classes offered hybrid, online, or in-person.

In this regular part-time role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized exercise assessments, training, and education. The goal is to empower clients in managing their chronic conditions and improving their health-related quality of life through safe and effective exercise practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized exercise training and assessments

• Educate clients and families on self-management techniques

• Collaborate with respiratory therapists in program delivery

• Plan, promote, and evaluate exercise programs

• Ensure adherence to safe exercise protocols for clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or Exercise Physiology

• Membership with relevant exercise physiology associations

• 1-2 years of experience as an exercise specialist preferred

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License required

• Access to a vehicle for travel within communities
