Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Occupational Therapist at Bethany College side, located in Red Deer, Alberta. Engage with residents to provide tailored interventions that enhance their overall quality of life.
In this permanent role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of daily living activities and customize occupational therapy programs to support residents' physical and emotional well-being. Collaborating with families and healthcare teams, you'll work towards empowering residents through effective treatment plans and adaptive equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to determine residents' needs
• Develop tailored occupational therapy interventions
• Coordinate with families and healthcare teams
• Maintain detailed documentation of care plans
• Exhibit leadership with Occupational Therapy Assistants
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Proven experience in conducting assessments
• Strong documentation skills for care plans
• Valid class 5 driver’s license for travel
