Provide compassionate care as a Health Care Aide at Rimbey Long Term Care. Engage with elderly clients and support their daily living activities in a rewarding team environment.
Rimbey Long Term Care is searching for a Health Care Aide to join its dedicated team. This role requires active participation in providing support for clients with diverse health needs, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to deliver personalized care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living activities for clients
• Support nurses in routine care and procedures
• Observe and report clients' mood and health
• Organize activities for residents' engagement
• Maintain safety for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements:
• HCA certification or eligibility required
• Experience in dementia and Alzheimer care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good work ethic and accountability
• Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months
