As a Community Disability Worker I, you will provide essential support to adults living in the community. This role requires motivation, organization, and a heartfelt approach to assisting individuals with complex needs. You will engage in daily living activities and community events while promoting dignity, independence, and empowerment for those you assist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities
• Engage in community activities with focus on recreation
• Implement customized support programs for clients
• Provide personal care and assist with mental health challenges
• Work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or higher in related fields
• Six months' experience with developmental disabilities
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Vehicle with valid driver's license and insurance
• Clean driving record with a current abstract
