- Administer endpoint security, patch and vulnerability management, and mobile device administration across the City's endpoint estate.
- Supports client business units in their use of information technology and business systems.
- Performs desk‑side hardware and software troubleshooting as well as regular hardware refreshes.
- Performs information technology administration and other duties and responsibilities.
- Performs corporate endpoint management including endpoint patch management for cybersecurity compliance and currency (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices), vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening, baseline configuration, and compliance reporting.
- Develops, documents, and maintains the City's endpoint management strategy and roadmap, including security management and lifecycle planning.
- Administers the City's Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) platforms, including device enrollment, compliance policies, conditional access, and application protection for corporate devices.
- Partners with the Security Operations Centre and Infrastructure teams on threat intelligence and proactive endpoint mitigation activities.
- Supports cybersecurity incident response activities on endpoints.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, standards, and runbooks for endpoint operations.
- Supports and promotes the City's adoption of Microsoft 365 endpoint security technologies and integration strategies.
- Configures, installs, and supports desktop computers, mobile devices, operating systems, printers, phones, and related client technologies.
- Delivers technical support through the Service Centre by handling service requests, troubleshooting issues, tracking incidents, and following escalation procedures.
- Provides daily operational support and maintenance to ensure a reliable hardware and software environment for all types of technical systems and business applications.
- Participates in or leads IT projects by contributing to project planning, resource estimation, documentation, vendor coordination, progress tracking, and implementation activities.
- Creates, maintains, and updates technical, procedural, and project documentation, training materials, inventory records, and statistical reports.
- Collaborates with clients, business units, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support business needs, provide technology guidance, ensure SLA compliance, and maintain effective IT service delivery.
- Must have a two-year technical computer diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience in an Information Technology Services environment.
- Must have three years’ experience in a comparable position, including:
- Working in a medium to large sized networked environment.
- Endpoint management for security compliance.
- Working with PC hardware and software systems (install, maintain, administer, and configure).
- Experience in the following will be an asset:
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools like SCCM, Intune.
- Experience with vulnerability management, MDM/MAM.
- Networking experience with a good understanding of the TCP/IP suite of protocols.
- Must have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Information Technology Staff, end-user department personnel and outside vendors & consultants.
- Must have the ability to exert moderate physical effort (e.g., lifting computers and related equipment).
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications.
- Must have the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have the ability to work in a demanding and frequently stressful environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to perform field service calls.
- Must be available to perform after hours call out duties on a scheduled basis.

: $37.83 to $57.40 per hour
Hours of Work
: 75 hours biweekly;
Monday to Friday, some evening and weekend work may be required.
