Information Technology Analyst

Position: Full-Time Information Technology Analyst
Elevate your IT career as a full-time Information Technology Analyst with the City of Red Deer, Alberta. Play a critical role in endpoint security and client support to enhance the City's IT infrastructure.

This position involves managing endpoint protection, patch management, and hardware troubleshooting. You will collaborate with business units, maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards, and support the City’s adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies. Additionally, you will perform troubleshooting, configuration, and documentation duties while actively participating in IT projects and incident response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer endpoint security and patch management

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site

• Develop and maintain endpoint management strategies

• Support Mobile Device Management and application security

• Collaborate with teams for cybersecurity incident response

Requirements:

• Two-year technical computer diploma or equivalent experience

• Three years’ experience in a similar role

• Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, and endpoint management tools

• Excellent communication skills with IT staff and clients

• Valid driver’s license for field service calls
