Uniway Computer is looking for a User Support Technician to provide essential in-person support for users facing technical challenges. This full-time position offers training opportunities.
In the role of User Support Technician, you will be tasked with assisting users directly at Uniway Computer's location. Your primary functions will involve granting network access, troubleshooting system difficulties, and providing user training. This position is ideal for someone with a background in computer science and a strong grasp of MAC systems and desktop applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide access to computer networks for users
• Report and monitor performance metrics of systems
• Address user inquiries regarding computing issues
• Deliver training and advisory support to users
• Maintain web server software and hardware effectively
Requirements:
• College education in Computer Science or related field
• Willingness to learn; no prior experience required
• Proficiency in networking hardware and desktop applications
• Familiarity with MS Office and Windows operating systems
• Must work full-time on-site, no remote options available
