Join the City of Red Deer as an IT Applications Analyst, focusing on enterprise application support and development. This permanent full-time role plays a significant part in the City's IT initiatives.
As an IT Applications Analyst, you will ensure the effective functionality of business applications, support users, and manage project activities. Your expertise in systems integration, database administration, and client support will be pivotal to the success of the City’s IT goals. Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance systems and ensure organizational alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective operation of business applications
• Implement system changes for improved performance
• Oversee security and user access management
• Liaise with software vendors for solutions
• Produce business reports to aid decision-making
Requirements:
• Recognized 2-year diploma in Technical Computer Systems
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Strong background in Microsoft systems and database management
• Familiarity with business application support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
