This position is for a 2 week trainee position that moves into a full-time seasonal Floorhand position. Seasonal work is based on operational requirements, project schedules, weather and environmental conditions and other factors outside our control. We operate a large safe and reliable fleet of mobile single, double and slant service rigs for workovers, well completions, re-entry preparation services and abandonments.

The Trainee Floorhand is the 6th hand in a 5-person crew. They will be trained on a well service rig and is responsible for learning and performing services on oil and gas wells. Duties of the Trainee Floor Hand include demonstrating an understanding of well servicing operations, showing knowledge of well servicing equipment and tools, and understanding our safety procedures and protocols.

They have the ability to operate well servicing equipment, demonstrate proper handling and use of tools, and perform tasks efficiently and accurately. They will be expected to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, as well as collaborate effectively with team members. After your two weeks of training you will be assessed to consider fulltime placement as a 5th hand on a crew.

• Valid full Class 5 Drivers license
• Preferred Industry Tickets:
  • Valid H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
  • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation) (Energy Safety Canada)
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing
• Fluent in Written/Spoken English
• Be willing to work in all weather conditions and work environments
• Ok with working away from home for long periods of time
