Caretaker at College

Position: Caretaker Role at Olds College
Support the operations of Olds College in a part time Caretaker role focusing on thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks across campus. Your work will ensure a secure and welcoming environment for everyone.

This permanent position entails working on weekends, specifically Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 am to 2:45 pm. You will handle general cleaning duties in various facilities, operate cleaning machinery, and assist with campus maintenance. Having strong communication abilities will aid in collaborating with colleagues and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in offices, meeting rooms, and washrooms

• Use and care for specialized cleaning equipment

• Report maintenance issues using work orders

• Assist in set-ups for campus events as needed

• Conduct regular health and safety inspections

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent desired

• Six months prior cleaning experience required

• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Good reasoning and time-management skills

• Commitment to ethical conduct and teamwork
