Facility Operations Worker

Provide exceptional service as a Facility Operations Worker 1 with the City of Red Deer. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficient operations in recreation facilities while delivering outstanding customer service.

This casual position involves maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for recreation users while performing necessary maintenance and repairs. You will supervise facility operations and engage in high-standard custodial services, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and welcoming recreation facility

• Conduct minor repairs and preventive maintenance

• Ensure compliance with safety and risk management standards

• Deliver professional customer service to facility users

• Complete daily reports and maintain facility records

Requirements:

• Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent

• Six months related experience in facility operations

• Certification in Intermediate First Aid

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies
