As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for assisting with providing a welcoming environment for our residents, employee care partners, and visitors by ensuring our community isclean and cared for.

Housekeeping Duties:50%-60%
- Performsroutinehousekeepingdutiessuchaslaundry, cleaning bathrooms,making beds, and cleaning common areas
- Coordinatesandassistsifrequiredinthe Move In /Move Out/Orientation process for Residents
- Emptiesallwastereceptaclesanddepositswasteindisposalbins
- Inspectsallroomstoensurecleaningstandardsare upheld
- Notifiessuperiorsofanypropertydamages,deficits,and disturbances
- Conductrandomongoingauditstomaintain compliance
Resident Support:25%-35%
- Providesservicesinaccordancewithbestpractices,ourWell-Being Strategies, quality improvement guidelines, and regulations/standards
- Reportsandrespondstoconcerns/issuesastheyrelatetoserviceswithinthe Community
- Engagesinmeaningfulconversationswith Residentsandtheirlovedones
Inventory Management: 15%-20%
- Verifiesinventorylevelsofallconsumablesand communicatestosupervisoras required
- Refillssupplyofhandsanitizers,paper towels,toilet tissue,soap,and deodorizers in the washroom
Training and Support:10%-15%
- Activelyparticipatingin Community Learning Circles ,meetingsandevents
- Collaboratewiththeteam,includingbutnotlimitedtomanagement,families, and employee care partners to facilitate the highest level of housekeeping service for the Resident
Health&Safety:5%-10%
- Providesasafeandsanitaryenvironmentforall Care Partnersandmakesevery effort to reduce safety hazards,accidents and injuries
- Understandsandparticipatesinthe Emergency Management Plan ,Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Wellness Strategies.
