As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for assisting with providing a welcoming environment for our residents, employee care partners, and visitors by ensuring our community isclean and cared for.
Summary Statement:The Housekeeper is responsible for providing housekeeping and laundry services to residents and the Community. The Housekeeper provides a variety of cleaning duties on a scheduled basis and maintains inventory of required supplies.

Housekeeping Duties:50%-60%
- Performsroutinehousekeepingdutiessuchaslaundry,cleaningbathrooms,making beds, and cleaning common areas
- Coordinatesandassistsifrequiredinthe Move In /Move Out/Orientationprocess for Residents
- Emptiesallwastereceptaclesanddepositswasteindisposalbins
- Inspectsallroomstoensurecleaningstandardsareupheld
- Notifiessuperiorsofanypropertydamages,deficits,anddisturbances
- Conductrandomongoingauditstomaintaincompliance
Resident Support:25%-35%
- Providesservicesinaccordancewithbestpractices,ourWell-Being Strategies, quality improvementguidelines, and regulations/standards
- Reportsandrespondstoconcerns/issuesastheyrelateloserviceswithinthe Community
- Engagesinmeaningfulconversationswith Residentsandtheirlovedones
Inventory Management: 15%-20%
- Verifiesinventorylevelsofallconsumablesand communicatestosupervisoras required
- Refillssupplyofhandsanitizers,paper towels,toilettissue,soap,anddeodorizers in the washroom
Training and Support:10%-15%
- Activelyparticipatingin Community Learning Circles ,meetingsandevents
- Collaboratewiththeteam,includingbutnotlimitedtomanagement,families, and employee care partners to facilitate the highest level of housekeeping service for the Resident
Health&Safety:5%-10%
- Providesasafeandsanitaryenvironmentforall Care Partnersandmakesevery effort to reduce safety hazards,accidents and injuries
- Understandsandparticipatesinthe Emergency Management Plan ,Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Wellness Strategies.
