Pursue a leadership role as an Operations Supervisor at Manitoulin Transport in Alberta, where your expertise will improve terminal operations and service delivery.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will support the Terminal Manager by overseeing efficient scheduling and operations at the terminal level. You will lead teams, ensuring that drivers and dock staff meet performance and legal standards while maintaining effective communication with customers and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily terminal pickups and deliveries
• Manage driver availability and coordinate operations
• Ensure compliance with company operational standards
• Lead dock staff performance and presentation
• Serve as the primary contact during manager’s absence
Requirements:
• Class 1/AZ or Class 5/DZ license preferred
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new locations swiftly
• Familiarity with freight industry practices
