About the Role

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager leads the PMO team responsible for delivering Intelliflex and CES Corporation projects. Reporting to the Director of PMO, this role manages Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators while establishing the governance, priorities, standards, and resources required for consistent project execution. This position is accountable for portfolio performance across scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, risk, commercial outcomes, and customer commitments.

The PMO Manager provides leadership and oversight while ensuring Project Managers maintain ownership and accountability for their assigned projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role that may also directly manage strategic, high‑risk, or complex projects and support significant customer, commercial, and project escalations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.

Assign projects based on complexity, risk, customer requirements, workload, and team capability.

Establish clear accountabilities, decision authorities, project standards, and escalation processes.

Conduct regular portfolio, project, workload, and development reviews.

Support recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and team development.

Promote accountability, collaboration, transparency, and disciplined project execution.

Maintain oversight of the project portfolio, including schedule, cost, customer commitments, financial performance, risks, and resource requirements.

Lead portfolio reviews and provide accurate, decision‑focused reporting to leadership.

Establish and maintain project governance, stage gates, review processes, RACI structures, and closeout requirements.

Review project plans, schedules, forecasts, risks, changes, and recovery strategies.

Intervene when project performance, customer confidence, quality, margin, schedule, or contractual requirements are at risk.

Lead or support recovery plans for distressed projects and directly manage strategic or complex projects when required.

Customer & Commercial Management

Ensure effective customer communication, reporting, action tracking, and escalation processes.

Support Project Managers with customer escalations, scope disputes, schedule recovery, and commercial negotiations.

Ensure project changes are identified, documented, priced, approved, and incorporated into project plans and forecasts.

Coordinate with Finance on budgets, revenue forecasts, progress billings, cash flow, cost‑to‑complete, and margin.

Protect company contractual and commercial interests while maintaining professional, solutions‑focused customer relationships.

Resource & Cross‑Functional Coordination

Coordinate PMO capacity and project resource requirements across the portfolio.

Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Controls, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Field Operations, and Commissioning to align priorities and deliverables.

Facilitate effective project handoffs from Sales through engineering, production, delivery, commissioning, and closeout.

Resolve cross‑project priorities and escalation constraints when required.

Ensure customer and contractual requirements are communicated to accountable functional teams.

PMO Systems, Risk & Continuous Improvement
