Bakery Clerk

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality control of baked goods
• Performing all duties associated with finishing and packing products, stocking shelves, rotation of products and inventory
• Providing customers with respectable, efficient, courteous service
• Daily housekeeping duties
• Adhering to all Evergreen Co-op policies and procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Self motivated, reliable, responsible, friendly, and hard working
• Food handling certificate and experience is an asset
• Ability to handle sharp knives for food prep is required
• Ability to handle multiple demands and make tough decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to cooperative values and principles
• Sense of urgency, and customer first attitude
• Capable of performing long periods of static standing, bending, twisting, and requires the potential applicant to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
