Key Responsibilities

  • Record & Inspect:
Log ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point), verify blasted steel surfaces, and oversee coating application on tanks, vessels, and piping.
  • Quality That Counts:
Perform and document WFT, DFT, adhesion, and holiday testing; correct defects and prepare for third‑party inspections.
  • Lead the Crew:
Assign tasks, mentor coaters, and act as the first point of contact for technical or quality issues.
  • Support the Foreman:
Provide daily shift reports, coordinate workflow, and assist in scheduling and inspection readiness.
  • Protect & Perform:
Maintain equipment calibration, enforce safety standards, and lead by example as a working lead.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certification: NACE Coating Inspector Level II (required).
  • Experience:

5+ years of industrial coating, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of coating systems, inspection tools, and industrial specifications.

Step into a leadership role where your skills are respected, your schedule is reliable, and your coatings protect the innovations of tomorrow.
