Bilton Coating Lead - Quality Assurance

Join Bilton Welding & Manufacturing Ltd. as a Coating Lead specializing in Quality Assurance in Innisfail, Alberta. This hands-on leadership position ensures high standards of coating quality while fostering a team-focused environment.

As a NACE Level II Certified professional, you will oversee the coating application process, ensuring that all surfaces meet AMPP/NACE/SSPC standards. You will be responsible for mentoring teammates and managing inspection protocols while also supporting daily operations in a high safety and quality-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and log ambient conditions for coating processes

• Carry out WFT, DFT, and adhesion testing and document findings

• Direct tasks and provide mentorship for a team of coaters

• Generate shift reports and assist in scheduling

• Enforce safety and perform equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• NACE Coating Inspector Level II certification mandatory

• 5+ years in industrial coating roles

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory position

• Knowledge of industrial coating standards and tools

• Capability to work in various challenging industrial conditions
