Shop Technician – RCD​/MPD Equipment Focus

Location: Blackfalds

Elevate operational efficiency at RCD/MPD by becoming a Hybrid Shop Technician. In this role, you'll assist with the assembly and maintenance of vital equipment while managing shipping and receiving tasks.

As part of your responsibilities, you will contribute to the upkeep of the facility and yard, actively engage in equipment assembly and inspection, and ensure documentation accuracy. The position offers a chance to work closely with the Shop Foreman and participate in quality control efforts. This role demands a mechanically inclined individual who can adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the working area

• Participate in equipment assembly, inspection, and repair

• Assist with logistics in shipping and receiving

• Conduct inventory counts and manage records meticulously

• Implement preventive maintenance checks for all tools

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years’ shop experience necessary

• Clean driver's license with valid documentation

• Mechanical knowledge of tools and processes

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Must be a self-starter and team-oriented
