Finning seeks a Shop Supervisor to launch and grow a new assembly operation within an established company. You will lead technicians, establish processes, and support customer-centred safety, quality, and operational excellence. The position suits leaders experienced in industrial or shop environments, assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop up to 30 technicians
- Conduct safety meetings, assessments, inspections, and compliance activities
- Coordinate work orders, manpower, and customer issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet customer requirements
- Monitor progress and remove barriers to productivity
- Journeyperson certification in a related trade
- Proven leadership experience developing and engaging teams
- Industrial or shop safety leadership experience
- Experience with electric power generation or assembly
- Strong organisation and continuous improvement skills
