Steel Pipe Manufacturing General Labourer

Support steel pipe manufacturing at Interpro Red Deer through equipment operation, product inspection, and physical labour. The work requires varying start times and rotational 12-hour shifts.

This entry-level General Labourer position works across production lines in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, using tools and measuring devices, entering computer data, and cleaning work areas. Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset, but it is not required.

• Operate production equipment for steel pipe manufacturing
• Use gas torches, hand tools, and power tools
• Inspect produced steel pipe visually
• Complete computer data entry
• Perform cleaning and general labour duties

• High school diploma required
• Commitment to safety procedures and protective equipment
• Ability to stand, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, push, and pull
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Pass required drug, alcohol, physical, and criminal checks
