Hybrid Host Ambassador

Support international students’ journey with the Canada Homestay Network as a Hybrid Host Ambassador in the Red Deer area. This part-time role requires up to 20 hours of work weekly, offering a blend of community engagement and home assessments.

As a Host Ambassador, your primary function will involve qualifying host families by conducting in-person interviews and home visits. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial in promoting the host program and capturing accurate family environment details. Collaborate efficiently with the Program Lead to ensure high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed interviews and home visits for potential hosts

• Verify conditions and revisit existing hosts regularly

• Document findings and follow CHN protocols diligently

• Advocate for the Host program within the community

• Foster collaborative relationships with teammates

Requirements:

• Proficient sales and interpersonal communication skills

• Capacity to resolve conflicts positively

• Valid driver’s license and comprehensive vehicle insurance

• Awareness of CHN procedures and international cultures

• Effective organizational and writing skills
