Community Ministries Seasonal Worker

Support essential community services with The Salvation Army as a Seasonal Community Ministries Worker. Deliver assistance from November to December, ensuring support in various ministries through team collaboration.

This seasonal role spans from November 2nd to December 23rd, focusing on service delivery in Community and Family Services. Key responsibilities include aiding seasonal projects like Kettles and Adopt a Family while maintaining strict confidentiality. Your work will engage directly with the community, offering vital logistical support to the team and managing important administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Kettles and Adopt a Family initiatives

• Support team in public events and campaigns

• Maintain confidentiality of program participant information

• Organize and clean the lessons area and facility

• Provide information and assistance to visitors

Requirements:

• Completion of a post-secondary program or equivalent experience

• Two years of relevant experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Flexible and able to adapt to various roles
